Riverton Community Housing offers many different housing options, both apartments and townhouses, close to the University of Minnesota East and West Bank campuses. Riverton has been a leader in providing affordable, quality housing to both students and non-students in the Dinkytown, Seward, Marcy Holmes and Southeast Como neighborhoods of Minneapolis.
Our experience began in 1972 with the building of the Chateau Student Housing Cooperative and was further strengthened with the purchase of Marcy Park Student Housing Cooperative in 1995, Marshall Student Housing Cooperative and Franklin Housing Cooperative in 2000, Cole Townhomes in 2002, and our newest addition, 4th Street Co-op.
We provide our residents the unique opportunity to live in residences operating under the cooperative principles, which means members can be involved with the decision making process for their co-op.
Spend the summer with us! The Marcy Park Co-op is now offering summer-only leases. Studios and one bedrooms are available. If you need short-term student housing, let us know!
