Courtney Overby

Board Member, Elected November 2017

Courtney holds two degrees from the University of Minnesota, a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies - Infrastructure and Environment, and a Master of Public Policy, with an emphasis on Economic Development, and Energy Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Working in Community Development for Minnesota Housing Partnership allows her the opportunity to offer technical support to community projects and programs around the country. Courtney is engaged in several efforts working to build community wealth and stability at the intersection of affordable housing and renewable energy, including serving on the Riverton Community Housing Nonprofit Board of Directors, Hamline Midway Investment Cooperative Steering Committee and Minneapolis Global Shapers. When she’s not building community capacity and rethinking systems, you can find Courtney enjoying local old-time string band music festivals, at (virtual) community gatherings and outside in the natural world going birding, camping, fishing, biking and more.
