Libby Logsden

Joined Board in November 2023

Originally from Iowa City, Iowa, Libby moved to Minneapolis after graduating with Accounting & Management degrees from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Libby worked as an accountant in various capacities at Deloitte, UHG, and Aeon. Libby discovered her passion for housing while converting and subsequently living in a retired school bus or "Skoolie" with her partner. The challenges presented by living disconnected to city utilities, meeting other travelers who lived in their vehicles out of necessity, and the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic whereby realizing it was a privilege to choose when you wash your hands, drove Libby to explore Housing, Community Development, and Community Organizing at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs through a Master of Public Policy degree. Now, as a Development Associate at the Landon Group, Libby works with clients to develop affordable housing; increasing the options and availability of quality, safe, and affordable housing units of all sizes that are accessible to all households across the state of Minnesota. Libby works to eliminate disparities in housing and be part of fostering more equitable, resilient, and connected communities.

In her free time, Libby enjoys spending time with her partner, dog Hank, her community, and time alone. She loves to travel, garden, try all of the delicious gluten-free food, rest, spend time outside, sew, and explore ways to strengthen community. Libby is looking forward to serving on the Riverton Community Housing Board!
